FBC Announces the Addition of Enhancement Tiles
Florida Brick & Clay Co. Inc. announces the addition of enhancement tiles to its Sunshine Pavers line. Medallions, Borders, Mini-Medallions and Decorative Inserts are now available to complement these product lines.
Bill Dodson, FBC's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, states, "Designers and specifiers will have an array of color combinations and styles to accentuate Sunshine Pavers installations".
Decorative Borders by FBC are available in four different pattern and color combinations in Sunshine Pavers. Each border is hand crafted from actual pieces of quarry tiles or brick pavers. The names Staccato, Diamonds, Harlequin and Rubble are indicative of the pattern designs. The borders offer a wide variation of style to accommodate almost every decor.
The borders measure 4" x 12" to 5.5" x 15" depending on the pattern. Matching comers are available in all border designs. The border and comers are back mounted to accommodate the installation process.
Medallions by FBC blend the old traditions of art with architectural design to create visual excitement to any installation. One 36" square Medallions have been designed from Sunshine Pavers to add an artistic focal point to entryways, patios, porches, driveways, pool decks, and plazas. Craftsmen who take pride in their work individually produce each medallion.
Mini Medallions and Decorative Inserts are created in the same four designs as the Borders and are designed to accentuate an installation on a smaller scale. The Decorative Inserts dot the center of the Mini-Medallions but can also be used independently as small accents throughout an installation of tiles or pavers.
FBC Releases New Architectural Kit
Florida Brick & Clay Company Inc. announces the release of its updated architectural kit. The kit will provide architects, specifiers and design professionals the ability to view and select all FBC products.
The compact unit is designed using the quad-fold format and measures 8 1/2" x 11" x 2" allowing for easy storage and visibility on library shelves. The architectural kit contains product information, sample chips, test results, installation specs and photos for all FBC product lines including: Sunshine Pavers, AmeriCraft II Quarry Tile, Pool Coping, QuarryStone Series, Medallions and Borders.
According to Bill Dodson, FBC's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "This is the first marketing tool produced by FBC that contains all of our product lines in one convenient package." In the past QuarryStone Series, AmeriCraft II Tile and Sunshine Pavers were shown on separate sample panels.
FBC Announces the Addition of QuarryStone Tile
Florida Brick & Clay Company Inc. is pleased to announce the launching of a new Product line entitled QuarryStone Series. The QuarryStone Series is a specialty tile that has been intentionally made with a rustic, antique, stone-like appearance. An engobe is applied to the undulated surface of the tile and the edges are distressed to enhance the stone-like qualities of the tile.
According to Bill Dodson, FBC's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "Over the past few years there has been a growing trend in the tile industry to offer ceramic products with the look of natural stone. QuarryStone's color-on-color effect offers designers, specifiers and homebuilders a "stone-like" look in a natural clay quarry tile".
QuarryStone Series is available in two color blends in 8" x 8" x 1/2". The TUSCANY BLEND has a rich, red body with grayish-cream and black engobes applied to the surface. The VIZCAYA BLEND has an off white body with peach and putty colored engobes applied to the surface. When fired at high temperatures the engobe coloring becomes hard and durable.
QuarryStone Series offers excellent coefficient of friction ratings as well as absorption rates making it an excellent choice for interior and exterior installations.
